Job Overview:
The Payroll Assistant position at UNOPS BSSC involves supporting the provision of payroll services while ensuring high quality, accuracy, and consistency in work. The role is supervised by a Manager and guided by a Payroll Officer/Senior Officer. The Payroll Assistant is expected to promote a client-oriented approach in line with UNOPS rules and regulations. The Payroll Assistant will be responsible for processing UNOPS payroll accurately and on time, which includes maintaining personnel payroll information, calculating pay, and updating payroll records. The role also involves responding to payroll-related queries, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with UNOPS regulations. Additionally, the Payroll Assistant will participate in knowledge-building activities, contribute to training sessions, and support the development of knowledge networks. Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a high school diploma and have a minimum of 4 years of experience in payroll, accounting, or HR administration.
