Job Overview:
The Programme Analyst on Sexual and Reproductive Health plays a crucial role in managing UNFPA's activities related to sexual and reproductive health. This position involves analyzing and assessing political, social, and economic trends that affect sexual and reproductive health and rights. The Programme Analyst is responsible for providing substantive inputs for project formulation, evaluation, and national development frameworks. The Programme Analyst will work closely with government counterparts, NGOs, and other partners to design and implement country programs that align with government priorities and UNFPA policies. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Programme Analyst on Sexual and Reproductive Health will have a variety of responsibilities, including:

• Collaborating with government counterparts, NGOs, and other partners to contribute to the formulation and design of the country program and its component projects.
• Ensuring the quality of program/project design by incorporating lessons learned and best practices, and establishing appropriate execution and monitoring mechanisms.
• Analyzing the political, social, and economic environment relevant to sexual and reproductive health and rights, and identifying opportunities for UNFPA assistance.
• Keeping abreast of new policy developments and preparing briefs for policy dialogue and technical assistance coordination.
• Coordinating project implementation and establishing collaborative relationships with executing agencies and other stakeholders.
• Documenting knowledge about current and emerging issues in sexual and reproductive health and rights, and sharing insights for future strategies.
• Assisting in advocacy and resource mobilization efforts by preparing relevant documentation and participating in donor meetings.
