MINUSCA has a significant presence with 11,650 military personnel and 2,080 police personnel, focusing on creating political, security, and institutional conditions that sustainably reduce the threat posed by armed groups. The mission also encompasses various tasks such as supporting the transition process, facilitating humanitarian assistance, promoting and protecting human rights, and supporting justice and the rule of law. The mission has evolved from the UN Integrated Peacebuilding Office in the Central African Republic (BINUCA) and has taken over responsibilities from the African Union-led peacekeeping operation (MISCA).

Job Overview:
The position of Technicien en Mécanique des Générateurs is crucial for the repair and maintenance of power generation equipment, specifically generators. The technician will be responsible for testing and inspecting engines and generators to identify malfunctions, locate missing or damaged parts, and verify repairs using diagnostic instruments. Reporting directly to the head of the generator management unit, the technician will perform various tasks including installation, maintenance, and repair of generators in accordance with recognized standards and regulations. The role also involves preparing necessary spare parts for preventive maintenance and minor/major revisions of generators, advising supervisors on periodic spare parts needs, and supervising daily workers while coordinating with subcontractors on generator-related work. The technician will diagnose technical failures and provide solutions for defective generators, ensuring compliance with safety programs related to generators and associated tools and equipment. Additionally, the technician will assist in upgrading infrastructure related to energy demand and generator needs, submit requests for materials and supplies, and perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities:
