Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the SDGs Advocate and Development Project Coordinator include:
Participating in training sessions focused on the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4.2, to prepare for training other educators.
Conducting training sessions for teachers on how to effectively use the 'ESCWA Stories' comic book series as an educational resource to enhance students' understanding of the United Nations and the SDGs.
Facilitating a collaborative process among students and SDGs Advocates to develop a sustainable development project proposal that can be implemented at the school.
Overseeing the execution of the sustainable project, ensuring close coordination with the SDG Stories Team throughout the implementation phase.
Monitoring and evaluating the project's impact on students' awareness and understanding of the SDGs and providing feedback for future initiatives.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a high-school diploma or a higher educational qualification. It is mandatory for all applicants to submit a copy of their educational degree, as incomplete applications will not be considered. Additionally, candidates should have a minimum of one year of teaching experience, demonstrating their capability to engage with students and educators effectively.
Educational Background: The educational background required for this position includes at least a high-school diploma.
