Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Driver include: transporting NRC staff, visitors, documents, and goods/materials to designated destinations; ensuring the safety and security of passengers and cargo; immediately reporting accidents, breakdowns, and maintenance needs; respecting local traffic regulations and NRC's logistical policies; maintaining a logbook for all trips; keeping the vehicle in proper operating condition, including cleanliness and fuel levels; arranging for repairs and servicing in liaison with the line manager; ensuring the vehicle has all necessary documents and equipment; providing logistical support during trainings and workshops; conducting basic security checks on vehicles before and after use; maintaining accurate records of all journeys; reporting any damage or accidents to the supervisor; ensuring the vehicle is used only for NRC-approved purposes; ensuring all passengers wear safety belts; managing time effectively and reporting to work promptly; familiarizing oneself with local areas and planned routes; and facilitating access and mobility in project areas with refugees and IDPs.
