Job Overview: The Program Coordinator for the Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery (PBID) project in Nigeria will play a crucial role in supporting the overall delivery and operational excellence of the project. This position is responsible for ensuring that the project meets its objectives and complies with PSI's standards. The coordinator will provide a wide range of administrative and operational support, liaising with various stakeholders, including network members, country project teams, and global technical departments. The PBID project aims to demonstrate the effectiveness of pharmacies in delivering vaccines, addressing the significant immunization challenges faced in Nigeria and across Africa. The coordinator will help manage the programmatic and financial health of the project, ensuring that it can deliver vaccines to nearly one million people, primarily women and girls, while generating evidence to scale access to immunization across the continent.
Duties and Responsibilities: The Program Coordinator will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
Providing moderate financial management support, which includes assisting with team budget management, monitoring labor trackers, preparing and tracking small budgets, reconciling expenses, and managing subawards.
Monitoring operational and project execution, ensuring that agreement modifications, workplans, and deliverables are met in coordination with team members.
Conducting regular site visits to collect data and monitor project activities, ensuring data quality.
Coordinating periodic project reporting, work planning, and detailed activity planning to support team performance.
Producing monthly update reports and disseminating lessons learned to partners and the PSI team.
Supporting demand generation activities and campaigns, both digital and non-digital.
Providing routine administrative support for daily operations, including coordinating meetings, note-taking, and travel arrangements.
Assisting with knowledge management activities, including designing tools for information tracking and maintaining internal filing systems.
Drafting, editing, and coordinating communications materials. 1

Required Qualifications: The ideal candidate for the Program Coordinator position should possess the following qualifications:
An Associate degree (or international equivalent) in a related field is required, while a Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) in a related field is preferred.
At least four (4) years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree or six (6) years of experience with an Associate degree in a relevant discipline.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Excellent organizational and administrative skills, with a keen attention to detail and timeliness.
Strong quantitative skills, particularly in working with budgets and spreadsheets.
Relevant language skills as per the country and program portfolio.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment.
Ability to manage diverse workstreams efficiently and effectively.
Educational Background: Candidates should have an educational background that includes an Associate degree (or international equivalent) in a related field as a minimum requirement. A Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) in a related field is preferred, indicating a higher level of education and understanding of the relevant disciplines.
Experience: The position requires at least four (4) years of related experience for candidates with a Bachelor’s degree or six (6) years of experience for those with an Associate degree.
