Job Overview:
The SEA Business Manager will play a crucial role in driving growth initiatives across Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos. This position requires a dynamic and results-driven individual who will be responsible for business development, operational excellence, and executing the Viya Health vision in these markets. The manager will explore new opportunities, assess market potential, and develop innovative business cases while ensuring strategic alignment of existing operations. The role includes overseeing a regional service hub that supports various in-market entities in HR, finance, supply chain, and procurement. The focus will primarily be on the Vietnamese market, with lighter supervision of the Cambodian market, which also serves as an export destination for Laos. The manager will collaborate with country teams to design growth strategies and explore new market opportunities, while also leading discussions to establish regional partnerships that enhance operational efficiency and business growth.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities include identifying and exploring new business opportunities in healthcare and wellness, conducting feasibility studies, and developing comprehensive business cases for new projects. The manager will oversee the execution of strategic plans for current businesses, ensuring efficient implementation and tracking of key performance metrics. They will manage P&L results, provide guidance to various business functions, and collaborate with stakeholders to develop a cohesive regional digital ecosystem. Additionally, the manager will engage with local businesses, investors, and governments to represent the organization and ensure a balance between profitability and social impact. Operational efficiency will be a priority, with the manager leading the development of efficient systems and overseeing financial, administrative, and logistical resources. People management is also a key aspect, as the manager will recruit and support team members while preparing annual budgets and performance measures. Performance measurement and reporting will involve monitoring KPIs and gathering data to optimize business outcomes, alongside developing strategies for knowledge management and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field, with an MBA preferred. A minimum of 10 years of experience in the healthcare industry is required, particularly in business development, strategic planning, or leadership roles within multinational organizations focused on healthcare or wellness in Southeast Asia. A strong understanding of healthcare market dynamics in Cambodia, Vietnam, and Laos is essential, along with a proven track record in securing regional funding for business ventures. Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, as well as excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities. The ability to thrive in fast-paced, diverse, and multicultural environments is also necessary.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field. An MBA is preferred, indicating a higher level of expertise and understanding of business principles that would be beneficial in this role.

Experience:
