Job Overview:
As a Logistics Specialist Manager, you will join a dynamic and committed team and become a key player in logistical innovation on the ground. Reporting to the logistics director, you will be responsible for integrating and developing the skills of the logistics sector, ensuring optimal management of operations across all programs. This role will allow you to directly impact social missions by adding real value to projects. You will be an inspiring leader, animating and uniting the logistics profession through quality training and peer exchange opportunities. You will play a strategic role in deploying HI's logistical standards, thus contributing to defining the key positioning of the logistics function within the organization. Leading a team of 8 collaborators (4 logistics specialists based at headquarters, 2 logistics specialists deployed, and 2 roving), you will pilot ambitious projects and be at the heart of the action to ensure quality logistics in service of social missions. Duties and Responsibilities:
1) Team Management - Contribute to the development of team members by creating conditions that foster their engagement, professionalism, and attachment to HI. Ensure compliance with the code of conduct, institutional policies, and expected individual and collective behaviors. 2) Development and strengthening of logistical capacities and skills of programs - Contribute to the development and deployment of logistical standards, including all tools. Facilitate the logistics community of practice. Assess whether the required skills of logistics teams meet expectations. 3) Strategy and Management - Monitor the mapping of global logistical risks and develop corrective action plans and mitigation strategies. Support the logistics director in developing the logistics strategy, related logistical action plans by program, and associated indicators (ensure the relevance of established indicators). Based on the program's logistical dashboard (MBO), identify potential deviations and gaps from set objectives, analyzing data contained in the tools. 4) Compliance Control and Program Optimization - Collect key performance indicators and provide analyses to the logistics director. Analyze logistical risks of programs (fraud, theft/misappropriation of funds, corruption, non-compliance, favoritism, accidents). 5) Standards and Accountability - Participate in the instruction and production of logistical frameworks and, if necessary, their revision. Support the deployment of the anti-fraud and corruption policy, anti-terrorism measures and regulations, environmental agenda, and protection framework against abuse of beneficiaries, communities, and HI staff in their programs. 6) Preparation and response to emergencies and contextual crises.

Required Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in logistics management. - Experience in coordinating logistical challenges of programs. - Proficiency in purchasing, supply chain management, or general services management. - Previous experience in humanitarian logistics and involvement in change management topics. - Ability to develop and implement logistical strategies. - Organized in mission execution, demonstrating rigor and responsiveness. - Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage with various stakeholders. - Proficient in both French and English.

Educational Background:


Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics management, with a focus on program coordination and logistical challenges. Candidates should have a strong background in humanitarian logistics and experience in change management.

Languages:
Fluency in French is mandatory, and proficiency in English is also required. Additional languages may be beneficial but are not specified as mandatory.

Additional Notes:
This is a permanent contract (CDI) starting ideally in early April. The position offers a framework status with 34 paid leave days and 13 RTT days annually, along with a CET to balance work-life commitments.
