Job Overview:
The position of Coordinateur Administration is crucial for the effective management of administrative activities within the NRC Sudan office, which is based in N'Djamena, Chad. The role involves coordinating the administrative team to ensure that all operational activities are conducted efficiently and in accordance with NRC policies and donor requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing administrative systems and procedures, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, and providing technical support to managers. This position requires a proactive approach to managing administrative functions and supporting project implementation in line with the country strategy. The Coordinator will also play a key role in liaising with public services and managing contracts, ensuring that all administrative processes are streamlined and effective.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Coordinateur Administration will have a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to: implementing administrative systems and procedures for NRC Sudan, ensuring adherence to policies and donor requirements, preparing and submitting reports and analyses, providing technical support to managers, and ensuring that the administration team is adequately trained. The Coordinator will oversee the electronic filing and archiving of key administrative documents, manage the administrative team, and ensure that administrative trackers are up to date. Specific responsibilities include supervising UNHAS flight management, organizing meetings and workshops, coordinating training and capacity-building plans, preparing welcome packs for visitors, liaising with public services in N'Djamena, managing visa processes for international staff, overseeing lease contracts, vetting contractors, preparing payment documents, and ensuring proper archiving of administrative documents. The role also involves managing contracts with service providers and ensuring the smooth execution of recurring administrative activities in N'Djamena.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a minimum of a bachelor's degree (Bac +3) in Administration, Public Law, or a related field. A minimum of two years of experience in a similar role within a humanitarian context is required, or one year of experience as an Administration Coordinator or two years as an Administration Officer in a humanitarian setting. Proven results in previous responsibilities and experience in complex and unstable contexts are essential. Candidates should have a strong understanding of administrative legislation and be proficient in French, English, and local Arabic, both written and spoken. Good knowledge of computer tools such as Excel and Word, as well as experience in training, is also required.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes at least a bachelor's degree (Bac +3) in Administration, Public Law, or an equivalent qualification. This educational foundation is essential to ensure that the candidate has the necessary knowledge and skills to perform the administrative functions effectively within the humanitarian context.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of two years of relevant experience in a similar role within a humanitarian organization. Alternatively, candidates may qualify with one year of experience as an Administration Coordinator or two years as an Administration Officer in a humanitarian context. Languages:

The position is a fixed-term contract (CDD) for six months, with the possibility of renewal. The role is based in N'Djamena, Chad, and may require up to 30% travel.
