Job Overview: The position of Analista (Coordenador/a) de Comunicação involves planning, implementing, and supervising the communication and advocacy strategy of the Justiça Plural Program, which is a partnership between the National Justice Council and UNDP. The selected candidate will ensure visibility for the program's actions and results, leading communication teams in design, layout, and editorial production. The role requires technical engagement in communication strategies and strong leadership skills to collaborate effectively with team members. Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Analista (Coordenador/a) de Comunicação include:
Development and implementation of the communication strategy: a. Create and execute an integrated communication strategy aligned with the program's objectives and guidelines from CNJ and UNDP. b. Set goals, indicators, and timelines for internal and external communication actions. c. Develop specific communication campaigns to disseminate results and promote events.
Supervision and leadership of the team: a. Oversee and guide the communication team's activities, fostering integration and collaboration. b. Monitor team performance, providing technical support and continuous feedback.
Production and supervision of institutional materials: a. Coordinate the production and review of technical and institutional materials, including reports and guides. b. Supervise the creation of graphic and digital materials, ensuring alignment with the program's visual identity.
Management of digital channels and social media: a. Plan and oversee social media management, including content production and engagement analysis. b. Ensure the maintenance and relevance of program-related websites.
Liaison with the press and institutional relationships: a. Coordinate press interactions, including interviews and press releases. b. Collaborate with courts, civil society organizations, and international bodies to enhance program visibility.
Monitoring impact and reporting: a. Track communication impact indicators and produce periodic reports on results. b. Ensure the quality and accessibility of editorial and visual products.
Participation and strategic support: a. Attend communication-related meetings and events, ensuring alignment with institutional guidelines. b. Supervise the organization of materials for presentations and strategic meetings. The incumbent may also perform other functions deemed necessary for the project's success.
Required Qualifications: The required qualifications for this position include:
Advanced university degree (Master's) in Social Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Social Sciences, or related fields. A Bachelor's degree in these fields combined with two additional years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a Master's degree.
Minimum of two years of relevant professional experience for Master's degree holders or four years for Bachelor's degree holders in communication and/or advocacy activities, including strategy implementation, digital communication management, and public relations.
Desired skills include experience working with public sector partners, especially within the justice system, and experience in coordinating and implementing institutional communication strategies.
Educational Background: The educational background required for this position includes a Master's degree in Social Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Social Sciences, or related fields. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in these areas combined with two additional years of relevant experience will be considered. This educational foundation is essential for understanding the complexities of communication within the context of human rights and social justice.
Experience: The level of experience needed for this position is a minimum of two years of relevant professional experience for candidates with a Master's degree, or four years for those with a Bachelor's degree.
