Job Overview:
The position of Individual Consultant under the UNESCO-Alwaleed Philanthropies Agreement involves coordinating and implementing a project designed to enhance the educational functions of cultural institutions. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the implementation of project activities, focusing on capacity-development interventions in cultural institutions in Tanzania and Argentina.
  • Build and maintain relationships with beneficiaries, cultural entities, educational organizations, and partner stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Strengthen stakeholder engagement by fostering communication and partnerships with Alwaleed Philanthropies and pilot countries.
  • Expand communication efforts to enhance project visibility and advocacy for integrating cultural and educational institutions.
  • Implement a monitoring and evaluation framework to ensure accountability and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Act as the focal point for external evaluations and complete final reporting processes to meet donor and UNESCO requirements.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess an advanced university degree in cultural policy, arts history, cultural management, international development, project management, or related fields. A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in project coordination, particularly in the culture and education sectors, is required. Demonstrated experience working with international organizations and managing donor-funded projects is essential. Strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills are necessary, along with proven financial and administrative management capabilities. Excellent knowledge of English or French is mandatory, with good knowledge of Spanish being advantageous.

Educational Background:
