Job Overview:
The position is located within the Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific (RAP) in Bangkok, Thailand. The primary objective of this role is to attract talent across various administrative areas to create a pool of applicants for future hiring under Personal Services Agreement (PSA) National (PSA.NAT). The role encompasses a wide range of operational, administrative, and logistical services that are essential for the smooth functioning of the work unit. The incumbent will be expected to contribute to the delivery of the organizational unit's programs and projects, ensuring that all administrative tasks are executed efficiently and effectively. This position is crucial for maintaining the operational integrity of the office and supporting the overall mission of FAO in the region.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be responsible for a variety of duties including but not limited to: providing office and administrative support, assisting in finance-related tasks, supporting human resources functions, managing procurement processes, coordinating meetings and travel services, and providing program and operations support. The role requires the individual to report to one or more Professional Staff Officers, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard and within set deadlines. The incumbent will also be expected to act independently in routine matters while receiving guidance from colleagues in the work unit. This position involves a significant amount of interaction with various stakeholders, necessitating strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a minimum of secondary school education and have at least three years of relevant experience in related positions. A working knowledge of English at proficiency level C is required, along with familiarity with MS Office applications and office technology equipment. Proficiency in corporate electronic databases and systems is considered an asset. Additionally, candidates must be nationals of Thailand or residents with a valid work permit.

Educational Background:
The minimum educational requirement for this position is a secondary school education. However, further qualifications in administrative support, finance, human resources, or related fields may be advantageous and could enhance a candidate's profile.

Experience:
Candidates should have a minimum of three years of relevant experience in administrative roles or similar positions. This experience should encompass a variety of operational and administrative tasks, demonstrating the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively and efficiently.

Languages:
A working knowledge of English at proficiency level C is mandatory. Additionally, proficiency in Thai, either as a mother tongue or at a similar proficiency level, is also required. Good communication skills in both languages are essential for effective collaboration within a diverse team.
