Job Overview:
The position of Information Systems Engineer within the OECD is crucial for the organization’s digital infrastructure and operations. The role involves working closely with business partners to design and provide secure digital solutions, IT services, and information management systems that enhance the OECD's global role. The Digital Infrastructure and Operations Division (DKI/DIO) is responsible for corporate-wide IT business relationship management, digital workplace solutions, and operational support services. The selected candidates will be part of a pool for current and future needs, contributing to Systems Engineering, Desktop Engineering, and Network Engineering. Each role will require a proactive approach to problem-solving, automation of tasks, and alignment with organizational standards, ensuring the effective delivery of IT services and infrastructure management.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities for the Information Systems Engineers include designing, testing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's IT services and infrastructure. This involves ensuring compliance with OECD technical and security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security standards, automating operational processes, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to team projects. Engineers will liaise with other IT teams and stakeholders, stay updated on emerging trends, evaluate new technologies, and participate in preparing Calls for Tender. Specific responsibilities vary by role: Systems Engineers will manage server infrastructures, Desktop Engineers will maintain corporate desktop environments, and Network Engineers will oversee network infrastructure. All roles require monitoring user behavior, managing support tickets, and providing bespoke support to VIP clients, along with preparing operational presentations and maintaining technical documentation.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a university degree in IT, telecommunications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Relevant industry certifications are also required, particularly for specific technologies related to each engineering role. For Systems Engineers, a minimum of 2 years of experience in server operating systems and virtualization is necessary. Desktop Engineers should have similar experience in managing enterprise desktop environments, while Network Engineers need proven experience in managing heterogeneous network infrastructures. A general IT engineering experience of 3-5 years is also required, along with project management experience and familiarity with Agile team environments. Experience in multicultural settings is preferred.

Educational Background:
A university degree in IT, telecommunications, or a related field is essential for this position. Candidates should also have relevant industry certifications that align with the technologies used in their respective roles, such as Microsoft certifications for Systems and Desktop Engineers, and networking certifications for Network Engineers. Continuous professional development and staying current with industry trends are also encouraged.

Experience:
The position requires candidates to have at least 2 years of relevant professional experience specific to their engineering role. Systems Engineers should have experience with Windows Server and virtualization, Desktop Engineers should have experience with enterprise desktop management tools, and Network Engineers should have experience with network infrastructure management. Additionally, a broader experience of 3-5 years in IT engineering is expected, along with project management experience and the ability to work in an Agile environment. Languages:

Additional Notes:
The positions are based in Paris, with the possibility of teleworking according to the OECD's regulations. The contract is open-ended, and the monthly salary starts at 6,717.19 EUR, with additional allowances based on eligibility and exempt from French income tax.
