Job Overview:
The internship-position" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">internship position is designed to provide support to the International Resource Panel (IRP) Secretariat. The intern will be involved in a variety of functions that are crucial for the effective operation of the IRP, which focuses on sustainable resource management and environmental issues. The intern will assist in planning and organizing meetings and events, conducting desk-based research, and developing communication tools to raise awareness about environmental challenges. Duties and Responsibilities:
The intern will have a diverse set of responsibilities, including but not limited to: supporting the IRP Secretariat in organizing annual in-person and virtual meetings, assisting in the development and implementation of communication activities, designing information tools such as reports and flyers, updating the IRP website and other information platforms, drafting articles and posts for social media, conducting desktop research for reports and outreach, attending meetings and drafting minutes, compiling inputs into briefing notes, formatting PowerPoint presentations, tracking communication performance metrics, and identifying funding opportunities. The intern's daily tasks may vary based on their background and the specific internship period, allowing for a tailored experience that aligns with their skills and interests.

Required Qualifications:
Applicants must meet one of the following criteria at the time of application: be enrolled in a graduate school program (second university degree or equivalent, or higher), be in the final academic year of a first university degree program (minimum Bachelor's level or equivalent), or have graduated with a university degree and must commence the internship within one year of graduation. While professional work experience is not required, a field of study closely related to the internship is necessary. Ideal candidates will be final year undergraduate or master's degree students in communications, international relations, development studies, economics, or environmental studies. Proof of enrollment or graduation date is required if selected for the position.

Educational Background:
Candidates must have a relevant educational background, which includes being enrolled in a graduate program or being in the final year of an undergraduate program. The fields of study should be closely related to the internship role, such as communications, international relations, development studies, economics, or environmental studies.
