Job Overview:
The Shelter and WASH Project Manager will play a crucial role in managing the shelter and emergency response services portfolio in North-East Myanmar. This position involves significant contributions to NRC Myanmar's ongoing efforts in shelter and emergency response, particularly in the context of climate change and the needs of hard-to-reach populations. The role requires adapting the shelter and emergency programming to the volatile situation following the escalation of armed conflict in October 202

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Shelter and WASH Project Manager include the development of shelter and emergency strategies, implementation of shelter projects, management of project activities, budgets, and documentation. The role also involves providing technical direction and ensuring high-quality project delivery, developing and managing project budgets, and building the capacity of project staff through training and skill transfer. Additionally, the Project Manager will be responsible for stakeholder management and coordination, ensuring effective collaboration with various partners and stakeholders involved in the projects.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess senior-level project implementation experience in a humanitarian or recovery context, with expertise in Shelter, WASH, Cash for Work, Multi-Purpose Cash, and/or Emergency responses. Familiarity with complex and volatile contexts, particularly in North-East Myanmar, is highly desirable. Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is mandatory for this position.
