Job Overview:
The Deputy Head of Conference Security and Infrastructure Service (EXD/CSI) at the OECD plays a crucial role in ensuring the strategic oversight and operational management of the service. This position involves working closely with the Head of EXD/CSI to deliver high-quality advice and services across the organization. The Deputy Head is expected to engage actively with stakeholders, manage change, and foster a cohesive environment within the service. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Engagement and Representation: Drive strategic engagement with stakeholders, represent the Head of EXD/CSI at senior meetings, and ensure cohesive service delivery across EXD.
  • Liaison and Coordination: Develop relationships with international organizations and authorities, oversee briefing material for senior staff, and support crisis management activities.
  • Service Delivery: Lead change management initiatives, standardize EXD/CSI activities, coordinate service delivery, and manage budgets effectively.
  • Team Leadership: Provide ethical direction to EXD/CSI team members and create an inclusive work environment.
  • Risk Management: Lead efforts in crisis preparedness and ensure continuity of operations and service delivery.

Required Qualifications:
  • Advanced university degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a relevant discipline.
  • Significant experience in developing change management plans and leading operational teams.
  • Proven capacity at a senior management level with substantial experience in an international or cross-cultural setting.
  • Experience in sustainability initiatives and effective budget management.
  • Knowledge of international organization policies and procedures is advantageous.

Educational Background:
Candidates must possess an advanced university degree in a relevant field such as Project Management, Business Administration, or Operations Management. This educational background is essential for understanding the complexities of managing international operations and leading teams effectively.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of ten years of relevant operational experience, particularly at a senior management level. Candidates should have a proven track record of successfully leading teams through transformative change and managing complex projects in an international context. Languages:

The contract duration for this position is a three-year fixed-term appointment, with the possibility of renewal. The monthly salary starts at 12,109 EUR, plus allowances based on eligibility, and is exempt from French income tax.
