Job Overview:
The Monitoring and Reporting Associate position at IDLO is crucial for ensuring that the Country Office effectively meets its objectives through rigorous monitoring and evaluation (M&E) practices. The role involves collecting and analyzing project implementation data, which is essential for assessing project progress and making necessary adjustments. The Associate will support project teams in developing SMART indicators and targets, maintain a reliable program database, and facilitate the preparation of donor reports. This position requires a proactive approach to monitoring project outcomes and ensuring alignment with IDLO's strategic goals, thereby contributing to the overall success of the organization's initiatives in Liberia.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Monitoring and Reporting Associate include:
  • Supporting project teams with baseline data analysis and the development of SMART indicators and targets.
  • Implementing the Country Office M&E frameworks and analyzing data captured through various tools.
  • Identifying and compiling information for donor program reports.
  • Maintaining an accurate program database for internal and donor reporting.
  • Aggregating and analyzing training data in the IDLO Training Information Management System (TIMS).
  • Collecting and uploading project implementation data onto donor reporting platforms.
  • Monitoring progress against the IDLO Strategic Plan Results and Resources Framework.
  • Assisting evaluation teams by providing relevant documentation and facilitating visits.
  • Analyzing TIMS data for donor project reports and supporting project teams in developing real-time monitoring reports. 1
  • Preparing project reports that incorporate data from the M&E Framework and developing success stories to showcase project impact. 1
  • Performing any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess an undergraduate degree in Social Sciences, International Relations, Economics, Business Administration, Statistics, or related fields. Additionally, they should have 3 to 5 years of experience in monitoring and reporting, particularly in an international organization. A strong understanding of M&E frameworks, data analysis, and report writing is essential, along with excellent knowledge of M&E standards, particularly the OECD DAC framework. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to manage complex datasets and produce M&E-related reports effectively.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes an undergraduate degree in relevant fields such as Social Sciences, International Relations, Economics, Business Administration, or Statistics. This foundational education is critical for understanding the complexities of monitoring and evaluation in the context of international development and justice sectors.

Experience:
