Job Overview:
The position of Responsable de Département Nutrition Santé involves defining strategies and coordinating ACF's interventions in the field of health and nutrition under the supervision of the Deputy Program Director. The role requires the design, capitalization, and evaluation of nutritional and health interventions, as well as advocacy actions within the sector. The candidate will assess and analyze the nutritional context of Cameroon, collect and analyze nutritional data from various partners (NGOs, UN agencies, government structures) to decide on the launch of surveys, and oversee and coordinate programs in nutrition and health. Additionally, the candidate will supervise or conduct rapid assessments and nutritional surveys, control and validate program consumption to establish orders and ensure quality control, manage the Nutrition Health team in the capital, and develop and animate programs and advocacy in partnership with national and local actors. The role also includes representing ACF and advocating for its positions in health and nutrition.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design, capitalize, and evaluate nutritional and health interventions and advocacy actions in the sector.
• Assess and analyze the nutritional context of Cameroon.
• Collect and analyze nutritional data from partners to decide on survey launches.
• Oversee and coordinate nutrition and health programs.
• Supervise or conduct rapid assessments and nutritional surveys.
• Control, validate, and monitor program consumption for order establishment and quality control.
• Manage the Nutrition Health team in the capital and functionally manage Nutrition Health Program Managers in the field.
• Develop and animate programs and advocacy in partnership with national and local actors.
• Represent ACF and advocate for its positions in health and nutrition.

Required Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must hold a university degree in medicine, nursing, or another relevant medical or paramedical specialty. A minimum of five years of experience in project management or humanitarian action in complex environments is required. Proven experience in coordinating and technically supervising multicultural teams on multisectoral projects, as well as budget management of programs, is essential. Strong skills in project proposal writing and leadership, particularly in complex contexts, are necessary. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are required, along with the ability to manage stress and demonstrate emotional intelligence. Experience in the country or region is an asset, as are skills in remote monitoring.

Educational Background:
A university degree in medicine, nursing, or a relevant medical or paramedical specialty is required for this position. This educational background is crucial for understanding the health and nutrition challenges faced in the field and for effectively managing the associated programs.

Experience:
Candidates must have a minimum of five years of experience in project management or humanitarian action, particularly in complex environments. Additional Notes:
The position is offered on a fixed-term contract under French law for a duration of 12 months. The gross monthly salary ranges from 2597 to 2968 euros, depending on experience. Non-French citizens will receive a retirement insurance reimbursement of 16% of the gross monthly salary. Additional benefits include a monthly per diem and living expenses of 618 euros net, a monthly context allowance of 150 euros, and an annual child allowance of 1500 euros per child present in the home country (with a maximum of 6000 euros per year). Transport and accommodation are provided, with 100% coverage of health insurance contributions and repatriation insurance. Employees are entitled to 25 days of annual leave and 20 rest and recuperation days, with coverage for travel to the chosen break zone and a flat allowance of 215 euros per RnR.
