Job Overview:
The consultant will play a crucial role in enhancing the eRegistrations online services and databases, which are essential for government officials and field experts. The consultant will work closely with the project coordinator and other international experts to implement advanced functionalities that will lead to higher user satisfaction. This role requires a deep understanding of both front-end and back-end development, as well as business process analysis, to ensure that the eRegistrations system meets the needs of its users effectively.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The consultant will be responsible for several key tasks under the supervision of the project coordinator. These include:

• Developing a functionality that allows users to translate default values in e-services, ensuring consistency across all labels.
• Implementing a 'save draft' feature in Display system Part B, enabling users to save their progress.
• Creating a new filter function for the edit grid that allows analysts to filter data using IN/NOT IN selectors.
• Developing and implementing a payment gateway within the technical stack of the eRegistrations system, specifically using leapa.co. These tasks are aimed at enhancing the overall functionality and user experience of the eRegistrations service.

Required Qualifications:
The position requires a first university degree, specifically a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Additionally, candidates must possess at least 12 years of relevant experience in IT/web development. This includes experience in business process analysis and both front-end and back-end development of complex systems. Familiarity with the UNCTAD eRegistrations system is considered desirable, indicating that candidates with prior experience in similar environments will have an advantage.
