Created in 1979, Action contre la Faim is a non-governmental organization that fights
against hunger. Its charter of humanitarian principals- independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, transparency - has been part of its identity for more than 40 years. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection and treatment of under-

RESPONSIBILITIES
You will work with the
director" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Country Director and lead Action Against Hunger programme development, implementation and strategy in Jordan.
More precisely you'll be in charge of :
- Strategy : Promote the innovation of strategic and technical approaches in the mission, in line with the overall Action Against Hunger strategy;
- Programme development and quality
- Partnership: Lead the development and implementation of a partnership strategy of Action Against Hunger in Jordan, promoting quality partnerships across all program sectors;
- Overall supervision of programme departments
- External Representation - Advocacy & Networking
- Ensure adherence to Action against Hunger gender requirements
REQUESTED PROFILE
- A Master' s degree in development / humanitarian aid, international affairs, public health, economics or a field relevant to ACF expertise (WASH, FSL, nutrition / health, MHCP)
- At least 6 years of management experience and significant experience with international NGOs. Experience with humanitarian programming preferred.
- Excellent management and leadership skills in a complex international setting, especially of large-scale programme and stress management.
- Strong experience in program development. Experience in program quality an added value.
- Excellent diplomatic and negotiation skills.
- Disciplined, organised and able to work independently.
- It is mandaroty to be fluent in English (written and spoken). Arabic is a plus.
SPECIFIC CONDITIONS / SALARY
- 12 months fixed term contract under French or Jordan legislation, starting August 1st 2021
Conditions of employments for expatriates :
- Monthly gross salary from 2735EUR to 3185EUR upon experience
- Monthly per diem and living allowance $340 + $426 net, field paid
- Monthly country allowance: 150EUR
- 16% of the gross monthly salary for pension insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens
- Transportation and accommodation: Coverage of transportation costs and guest house
- Family Status possible
- Medical coverage: 100% coverage of medical expenses and repatriation insurance
- Leaves and RnR: 25 days of paid leaves per year, 20 RnR per year and 215 EUR at each RnR period
