Job Overview: The TVET Instructor (Commercial) position at UNRWA involves a range of responsibilities aimed at enhancing the vocational education and training (TVET) programs for Palestine refugees. Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the TVET Instructor (Commercial) include:
Supporting the design and development of learning programs and curricula, including conducting occupational and competency analyses, drafting program profiles, and integrating new technologies into the subject specializations.
Facilitating the delivery of school-based and work-based learning programs, including designing training venues, selecting trainees, and managing learning in various settings.
Designing student assessments, including formative and summative assessments, and conducting knowledge and practice-based assessments according to the assessment implementation plan.
Building linkages with employers and TVET instructors, collecting labor market information, and conducting skills needs assessments to identify gaps and mismatches in training programs.
Applying quality assurance tools and processes across the training cycle according to UNRWA's TVET Quality Assurance Framework.
Supporting greening and digitalization initiatives by designing and implementing relevant learning programs.
Collaborating with other instructors and staff to maintain a respectful environment, implement co-curricular activities, and ensure Occupational Health and Safety measures are in place.
Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications: The position requires a university degree of four years from an accredited educational institution in a relevant field, specifically in Commercial studies or a related area.
