Duties and Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of the Responsable de Comunicación Digital include supporting the implementation of digital communication plans and activities by creating, adapting, and publishing content for WFP's digital platforms and social media. The role involves managing institutional social media accounts, scheduling posts, monitoring content, and ensuring timely updates of digital channels. The position requires the creation of written and multimedia content for social media and digital platforms, including texts, photographs, short videos, infographics, testimonials, and other communication products. Additionally, the role involves collecting impactful stories, photographs, testimonials, and other inputs from programmatic areas for dissemination on digital channels. Monitoring social media activity and digital platforms to identify trends, communication opportunities, and potential risks to institutional reputation is also a key responsibility. The position includes tracking the performance of digital content and campaigns through basic metrics collection and analysis, preparing periodic reports on results. The role supports the production and editing of audiovisual materials for use in social media, digital campaigns, and other institutional communication initiatives. Maintaining updated editorial calendars and coordinating content scheduling across various digital platforms is essential. The position also involves managing and organizing image banks, multimedia files, and other digital resources used by the communications unit. The role requires supporting the updating of websites, microsites, and other institutional digital platforms in accordance with established corporate guidelines. Coordination with different units within the office to gather information, validate content, and ensure alignment of institutional messages is crucial. The position requires verifying that digital content complies with corporate branding, visual identity, and communication guidelines of WFP. Staying informed about trends, tools, and best practices in digital communication and social media to support continuous improvement of institutional channels is also part of the responsibilities. Other activities related to digital communication and content management that contribute to the unit's objectives may be assigned as needed.

Required Qualifications:
The required qualifications for the Responsable de Comunicación Digital position include a completed secondary education (high school diploma) as a minimum requirement. A university degree in Social Communication, Journalism, Marketing, Digital Communication, Public Relations, or related fields is desirable. Candidates must have a minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional experience in digital communication, social media management, digital marketing, or related areas. Demonstrated experience in creating, managing, and publishing content for digital platforms and social media is essential. Experience in basic production and editing of multimedia content (photography, video, infographics, and graphic pieces) for digital media is required. Knowledge of graphic design tools, video editing, and digital content production such as Canva, Adobe Creative (Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere), or Figma is indispensable. Familiarity with social media management and monitoring tools such as Trello, Brandwatch, Hootsuite (or other content publishing software), and Google Analytics is also essential. Desirable qualifications include experience in managing social media and digital campaigns for international organizations, NGOs, or public institutions, as well as knowledge and use of After Effects. Experience in monitoring digital metrics, audience analysis, and optimizing online communication strategies is also beneficial.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for the position includes a completed secondary education (high school diploma) as a minimum requirement. A university degree in Social Communication, Journalism, Marketing, Digital Communication, Public Relations, or related fields is highly desirable and preferred for candidates applying for this role.

Experience:
