Job Overview: The NATO Officer - Business Management Systems position is designed for a professional who will provide expert advice and first-line user support within the Office of Financial Control. The incumbent will augment the Business Management Systems (BMS) team to ensure the timely maintenance of setup and master data. This role encompasses various responsibilities, including acting as a system administrator, business analyst, tester, and trainer to support the proper operation and evolution of the ERP system. Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the NATO Officer - Business Management Systems include providing first-line support to the user community, guiding clients in resolving issues related to Oracle E-Business Suite, and handling queries regarding transactional data processing, business flows, and reporting tools. The incumbent will facilitate change management efforts within the Office of Financial Control, driving improvements in business processes and standards. They will develop work, team, and project plans to meet specific objectives and requirements, coordinating initiatives aimed at transforming the employment of people, processes, and tools in NATO's financial and acquisition management domain. Additionally, the officer will support the implementation of projects that involve developing and implementing business processes to meet ERP identified business needs, managing issues related to system integration, and contributing to issue resolution processes while providing regular reporting to key stakeholders. The role may also involve performing any other related duties as assigned by the Head of BMS.
Required Qualifications: To qualify for the NATO Officer - Business Management Systems position, candidates must possess a University Degree in management information systems, operations research, economics, accounting, business process engineering, business administration, public administration, finance, or a related discipline from an institute of recognized standing. Additionally, candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in the implementation, support, administration, and configuration of Oracle E-Business Suite applications. Additional Notes: The successful applicant will be offered a definite duration contract of three years, with the possibility of renewal for up to three additional years. During this period, the incumbent may apply for conversion to an indefinite duration contract. The maximum period of service in this post is six years. If the successful applicant is seconded from the national administration of one of NATO’s member states, a similar contract will be offered, subject to the agreement of the national authority concerned.
