Job Overview: The Sponsorship Manager position is crucial for ensuring the effective functioning of the Sponsorship area within Plan International Brasil. The role is responsible for achieving institutional indicators, maintaining high-quality sponsorship processes and communications, integrating with programmatic areas, and strengthening relationships with communities, sponsors, partners, and Plan International offices. The manager will oversee the sponsorship team, monitor results, and implement institutional strategies related to sponsorship. This position requires a strategic mindset to ensure that the sponsorship area meets its goals and contributes to the overall mission of the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities: The Sponsorship Manager will have a comprehensive set of responsibilities, including: managing the Sponsorship area to ensure compliance with institutional indicators and commitments; leading, developing, and monitoring the performance of the sponsorship team; preparing and overseeing the area budget to ensure efficient resource execution; ensuring the quality and timeliness of communications with sponsors and national and international offices; monitoring the growth and management of caseloads in program units; supporting local teams in implementing sponsorship processes, tools, and procedures; ensuring the integrity and proper management of information in the corporate Child Data system; producing managerial and strategic reports to support decision-making; representing Plan International in national, regional, and global meetings related to sponsorship; ensuring compliance with institutional policies, particularly regarding safeguarding, gender equality, and inclusion; supporting resource mobilization actions and local sponsorship projects; developing monitoring tools and analyzing indicators to strengthen area management; and ensuring that program units receive the necessary technical support and information to achieve their goals.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a complete higher education degree in Social Sciences, Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related fields. A minimum of 3 years of experience in similar management roles is required, along with experience in team management, indicators, planning, and monitoring results. Experience in social organizations, community programs, or international development will be considered an advantage. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is essential, as well as knowledge in monitoring indicators and data analysis. Strong leadership and team management skills, strategic planning, negotiation, and the ability to engage with diverse audiences are also required, along with organizational skills and the ability to analyze information.
Educational Background: The educational background required for this position includes a completed higher education degree in relevant fields such as Social Sciences, Administration, Economics, Engineering, or other related areas. This educational foundation is essential for understanding the complexities of sponsorship management and the social issues that Plan International addresses.
Experience: The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of relevant experience in management roles, particularly in areas related to sponsorship, team leadership, and program management. Experience in social organizations or community development programs is highly valued, as it provides insight into the challenges and opportunities within the sector. The candidate should also have a proven track record of successfully managing teams and achieving organizational goals.
Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory for this position, as it involves communication with international partners and stakeholders. Intermediate proficiency in Spanish is also required, which will facilitate communication in a multilingual environment. Knowledge of Portuguese is essential, given that the position is based in Brazil.
Additional Notes: The position offers a gross salary of R$ 10,173.00 under a CLT contract.
