Job Overview:
The primary purpose of this position is to lead and manage a team of promoters in charge of sponsorship communications, promoting Child-Centered Community Development with a Rights-Based Approach in the coverage areas. This role is essential in facilitating the active participation of families, children, adolescents, and sponsored youth in the projects and programs implemented by Plan International within the community. The position requires a proactive approach to community engagement and the ability to foster relationships that enhance the effectiveness of the organization's initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure the production of quality sponsorship documents within established timelines in the Program Unit.
• Coordinate with community volunteers to produce sponsorship communications in their coverage area and that of their work team.
• Execute assigned programmatic actions in the coverage area and coordinate with the program team on various activities.
• Develop positive relationships with sponsored families and communities.
• Increase personal and team commitment to the application of corporate values and global policies, especially regarding gender and safeguarding children and youth in areas of influence.
• Lead the team of promoters, fostering commitment and high performance.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Social Sciences, Sociology, Economics, Education, Public Health, or another relevant field.
• Experience as a sponsorship promoter (desirable) and/or in supervisory roles.
• At least 2 years of experience in similar roles within social development projects.
• Basic knowledge of computer packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, internet).
• Basic knowledge of personnel management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to generate quality reports.
• Knowledge of human rights, with a primary emphasis on children's rights.

Educational Background:
Candidates should possess a degree in Social Sciences, Sociology, Economics, Education, Public Health, or a related field that aligns with the responsibilities of the position. A strong educational background in these areas is essential to effectively carry out the duties associated with this role.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of three years of relevant experience in social sciences or related fields, with at least two years in similar roles within social development projects. Experience in sponsorship promotion is desirable, as is experience in supervisory positions, which will contribute to the effective management of the team and the execution of programmatic actions.

Languages:
Fluency in Portuguese is mandatory, as it is the primary language of communication in Brazil. Knowledge of English or Spanish would be considered an asset, as it may facilitate communication with international teams and stakeholders.
