Job Overview: The Administrative Associate II position is a vital role within the STRIDES South Sudan activity, which is part of the U.S. Department of State-funded global healthsecurity" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security program. The primary function of this role is to provide comprehensive administrative and office support to ensure the smooth operation of the program. The position requires a solid understanding of organizational policies and procedures, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders. Responsibilities include preparing documents and reports, managing office technology, maintaining records, and assisting with logistics for meetings and events. The Administrative Associate will also be responsible for data collection and verification, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and supporting procurement and logistics functions. This role is essential for facilitating communication and coordination among team members and external partners, thereby contributing to the overall success of the STRIDES initiative.
Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Administrative Associate II include performing intermediate-level administrative tasks, serving as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications, reviewing data for accuracy, coordinating meetings and events, maintaining files and records, managing mail distribution, assisting with inventory management, supporting procurement processes, processing travel expense forms, and drafting written communications. The role also involves handling confidential information, working independently or as part of a team on special projects, and utilizing office software and equipment to perform various tasks. Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize work effectively are crucial for success in this position.
