The Driver will also be expected to support occasional travel to decentralized project sites, which may involve navigating unpaved or remote roads. Duties and Responsibilities: The Driver will be responsible for transporting Country Office staff, consultants, and official visitors to various destinations, including meetings, program sites, and the airport. Key responsibilities include ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and security of the vehicle, performing routine maintenance such as oil changes and inspections, and monitoring fuel and fluid levels. The Driver must maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and trips taken, and ensure that all vehicle documentation is current and compliant with FHI 360 and local regulations. Additionally, the Driver will plan routes based on schedules or ad-hoc requests, assist with the transport of program supplies and equipment, and fulfill special requests as needed. The role may also involve providing protection for clients in high-risk locations and performing other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED equivalent. A valid driving license, a clean driving record, and a trade test certificate are mandatory. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of related driving experience, particularly in operating large vehicles. Familiarity with driving conditions in Juba and on unpaved or remote roads in South Sudan is advantageous.
