Job Overview:
The Senior Conference Assistant is a pivotal role within the ICSID, responsible for the comprehensive planning, coordination, and execution of hearings and events. This position requires a high level of independence in managing logistical and administrative arrangements for various types of proceedings, including in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats. The Senior Conference Assistant will coordinate with vendors and service providers, maintain schedules, and contribute to the enhancement of hearing operations. The role is integral to ensuring that hearings and events are conducted efficiently and effectively, thereby supporting the broader mission of the World Bank Group in promoting sustainable development and resolving investment disputes.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Senior Conference Assistant will independently coordinate all logistical arrangements for hearings, sessions, deliberations, meetings, conferences, seminars, and training programs. This includes managing multiple concurrent events, ensuring that high-quality services are delivered on time. Responsibilities also encompass scheduling and coordinating in-person, virtual, and hybrid proceedings, preparing and monitoring timelines, and ensuring all necessary arrangements are completed promptly. The role involves coordinating room setups, catering, interpretation, audiovisual support, security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security, and building access. Additionally, the Assistant will liaise with vendors for procurement of services, maintain vendor records, and assist with financial tracking and reconciliation of expenditures related to events. The position also requires maintaining accurate records and supporting the implementation of new systems and processes to improve hearing administration.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the Senior Conference Assistant position should possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in project management and logistical coordination is essential, along with excellent communication skills to interact with various stakeholders. Familiarity with financial tracking and vendor management processes is also required. Educational Background:

Experience:
