Job Overview: The Programme Associate position at UN Women in Yangon, Myanmar, is a critical role that supports the Programme Team in the development and implementation of effective programs aligned with UN Women’s rules and regulations. Duties and Responsibilities: The Programme Associate will undertake a variety of duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Providing administrative and logistical support for the formulation and management of programs, including preparing work plans, budgets, and proposals; offering technical guidance on routine delivery and reporting; preparing information for audits; and compiling data for documents and reports.
Supporting the financial management of the Programme Unit by creating projects in the Quantum system, preparing budget revisions, monitoring budget preparation, reviewing financial reports, and processing payments for consultants.
Assisting in the organization of meetings, workshops, and events by managing logistical arrangements, travel requisitions, and preparing public information materials.
Supporting resource mobilization efforts by preparing agreements, following up on contributions, and compiling information from various stakeholders.
Facilitating knowledge building and sharing by synthesizing lessons learned and organizing training for office personnel and partners.
Performing other duties as necessary for the efficient functioning of the office and organization.
