Job Overview: The Senior Private Sector Partnerships (PSP) Assistant (Digital) will play a crucial role in supporting the PSP team to achieve individual giving fundraising Key Performance Indicators. The incumbent will assist in developing donor communications content for daily digital usage and will be responsible for initiating and executing donor engagement activities aimed at enlarging the supporter base and improving donor development performance. This position requires a digital specialist with experience in supporter engagement and donor development, particularly in digital content creation, data analysis, and CRM-related work. The role also encompasses managing E-commerce operations, donor communications, and administrative tasks related to individual giving. The position is designed to enhance UNHCR's engagement with the general public and potential supporters through effective digital strategies and campaigns.
Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Senior PSP Assistant (Digital) include supporting the PSP team in achieving fundraising KPIs, developing daily communications content for donor interactions, initiating digital supporter engagement activities, managing the E-shop and regular-giving campaigns, and overseeing the CRM system and database. The incumbent will monitor online fundraising and social media performance, assist with administrative tasks related to individual giving, and contribute to the development of the Middle Value Donor program. The role requires collaboration with internal teams, external vendors, and media partners to create effective communication strategies based on marketing insights. The assistant will also be responsible for maintaining the E-shop content, optimizing donor development programs, and providing reports on fundraising performance and supporter data trends.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a vast knowledge and understanding of digital communications, E-commerce, and performance marketing. They should have proven abilities to develop communication content in both Simplified Chinese and English, along with experience working with CRM digital systems. A strong analytical mindset, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential. A passion for learning and adapting to new trends in digital fundraising is also required. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with a high school diploma or 1 year of experience for those with a Bachelor's degree or higher, particularly in social media, performance marketing, or fundraising within the mainland Chinese context.
Educational Background: The educational requirements for this position include a High School Diploma or a University degree in Marketing, Communications, Statistics, or a related field. An additional diploma in digital marketing, social media, E-commerce, public affairs, or a similar program is considered an asset. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree are preferred, as they may require less work experience compared to those with a high school diploma.
Experience: The position requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience for candidates with a high school diploma, or 1 year of experience for those with a Bachelor's degree or higher. Relevant experience includes social media, performance marketing, or fundraising within the mainland Chinese context, as well as experience in data analysis or developing performance reports.
