Job Overview:
The Associate, HROD Portfolio Management Office (PMO) plays a crucial role in supporting the coordination and delivery of PMO activities across Human Resources and Organizational Development (HROD) transformation and change initiatives. This position requires a strong understanding of multi-process management to maintain effective portfolio governance, planning, reporting, risk, and dependency management. The Associate will work independently on standard and moderately complex tasks within established frameworks and guidance. The role involves coordinating inputs from project teams and stakeholders, interpreting PMO standards, and applying judgment to resolve delivery issues or escalate them as necessary. The Associate will also contribute to the improvement of PMO processes and tools, provide guidance to junior colleagues, and deliver high-quality outputs that facilitate effective decision-making and enhance team performance.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Associate include supporting and enhancing the PMO by coordinating agreed PMO activities, refining PMO objectives, and maintaining engagement with key stakeholders. The Associate will map and document PMO processes, develop and improve PMO templates and tools, and coordinate regular PMO governance activities such as roadmap planning sessions and risk review meetings. They will provide practical guidance to project team members, manage actions from PMO sessions, and collaborate with the HROD Finance Manager to track project budgets. Additionally, the Associate will prepare updates for senior stakeholders, support change communications, manage the solution change process, review status report tooling, engage with the Enterprise PMO, and maintain the HROD Transformation Roadmap.

Required Qualifications:
The position requires a can-do attitude with a commitment to excellence, above-average organizational and interpersonal skills, and exceptional attention to detail. The candidate should possess a proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving, experience in a program or project environment, and the ability to develop impactful communication materials. The role demands experience working across departmental boundaries, particularly with Finance and IT, and the ability to prepare high-quality information for senior stakeholders. The candidate must demonstrate independence, the ability to coordinate competing priorities, and excellent written and oral English language skills. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is essential.

Educational Background:
A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required for this position. The educational background should ideally be in a relevant field that supports the functions of the role, such as business administration, project management, or human resources.

Experience:
Candidates should have experience working in a program, project, or PMO environment, supporting delivery across multiple processes or workstreams. This experience should include developing and delivering high-quality communication materials and collaborating with colleagues at various organizational levels to drive sustainable change.

Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory, with excellent written and oral communication skills. Additional language skills may be considered an asset but are not explicitly required for this position.
