Job Overview:
This position is an apprenticeship for aspiring IT specialists in system integration, set to commence on August 1, 2027, and lasting for three years, with the possibility of shortening the duration based on individual performance and educational background. The role is situated within the Digital Transformation and IT Solutions (DIGITS) department, which serves as the central IT division of GIZ. The department is responsible for enhancing the organization's processes through modern information and communication technologies. The apprenticeship will involve working in various teams, providing IT support domestically and internationally, managing internal and cloud systems, and participating in digitalization projects. The training will include introductory days and IT training, focusing on the analysis, design, and construction of IT systems and networks, as well as testing hardware and software and documenting results. The program aims to prepare apprentices to handle tasks independently and effectively.

Duties and Responsibilities:
As an apprentice, you will engage in a variety of tasks that include but are not limited to: providing IT support for both domestic and international operations, administering internal and cloud-based systems, and contributing to digitalization projects. You will participate in training sessions that cover the analysis, design, and implementation of IT systems and networks. Additionally, you will be involved in testing hardware and software, documenting your findings, and collaborating with teams on IT projects. The apprenticeship will also include participation in GIZ's internal educational events and exam preparation courses to ensure readiness for the IHK examinations. Required Qualifications:
Candidates should possess a good secondary school diploma, Fachhochschulreife, or Abitur. A strong interest in information technology is essential, along with good logical reasoning skills.
