Job Overview:
The Head of Fellowship Programming at WWF is tasked with designing and leading the Boundless Fellowship, which aims to cultivate a new generation of leaders dedicated to protecting vital ecosystems. This role emphasizes experiential learning, mentorship, and collaboration among early- and mid-career conservationists from diverse backgrounds. The position is centered on fostering connections among Fellows, mentors, and the landscapes they aim to protect. The Head of Fellowship Programming will be responsible for creating transformative experiences, including in-person encounters in significant ecosystems and virtual sessions that maintain engagement and community among participants. This role requires a creative and human-centered approach to leadership development, focusing on guiding Fellows through their journeys and nurturing a lasting community.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of the Head of Fellowship Programming include designing and leading immersive Boundless Encounters that integrate leadership, ecology, and community. The role also involves curating virtual sessions that promote curiosity and creativity among Fellows between in-person gatherings. As a trusted mentor, the Head will support Fellows through their challenges and successes, fostering a vibrant alumni network that encourages collaboration and mentorship among past and current participants. Additionally, the Head will work closely with the director" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Executive Director to ensure that all program elements align with the philosophy of Boundless, emphasizing leadership through immersion in place, community connection, and cross-generational mentorship. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree and have a minimum of 8 years of professional experience in conservation, social impact, or related fields. This experience should include at least 3 years in leadership development, facilitation, mentorship, education, or program management. A proven track record in designing and delivering leadership programs for accomplished professionals is essential. Experience in building and maintaining active networks, such as fellowship or alumni communities, is highly valued. Additionally, candidates should have experience working with diverse communities and in cross-cultural environments, which is strongly preferred.

Educational Background:
A Bachelor’s degree is required for this position, with a focus on fields related to conservation, social impact, or education. Advanced degrees may be beneficial but are not explicitly required.

Experience:
The ideal candidate should have at least 8 years of general professional experience, with a significant portion dedicated to leadership development and program management. Experience in designing and facilitating leadership programs is crucial, as is the ability to work effectively in diverse and cross-cultural settings.

Languages:
Advanced proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is highly desirable for this role, as it will facilitate communication and collaboration among international Fellows. Proficiency in English is mandatory, given the organization's primary language of operation.

This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship, and applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. The role may require domestic relocation within the U.S. Additionally, the position involves approximately 25% international travel to remote landscapes.
