Job Overview: The Human Resources Department (HRD) of the IMF is seeking applications for the position of Human Resources Analyst within the HR Operations Division. This role is crucial for providing operational and administrative support across a wide range of human resources functions. The selected candidates will work under the supervision of senior HR officials and will be responsible for various HR operations, including allowances administration, talent operations, and service delivery. The position is designed to build a competitive pool of candidates for anticipated one-year contractual vacancies, with the possibility of renewal for up to four years based on performance and business needs. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver high-quality HR services, maintain accurate records, and contribute to process improvements while exercising sound judgment and professionalism in handling sensitive matters.
Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Human Resources Analyst include administering HR policies and programs, delivering HR services within defined standards, providing customer support to employees and candidates, processing HR transactions, conducting audits and reconciliations, coordinating recruitment activities, and maintaining accurate records. Specific tasks include:
Employee Services and Benefits Administration: Processing HR transactions accurately, providing high-quality customer support, maintaining employee records, performing financial transactions, conducting audits, and recommending improvements to HR policies and procedures.
Recruitment Operations: Administering recruitment processes, conducting eligibility reviews, preparing offer letters, responding to inquiries, and maintaining recruitment-related data.
Supporting HR service presentations and training activities, and performing other duties as assigned. The role requires a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for process improvements and leveraging technology to enhance service delivery.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a combination of training and experience equivalent to the completion of secondary education, along with a minimum of four years of relevant experience. Two years of experience in human resources is highly desirable. A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, accounting, or a related field is preferred. Experience in customer service, HR benefits administration, recruitment operations, and familiarity with HR systems and AI-enabled tools is also desirable. Strong service orientation, professionalism, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion are essential.
Educational Background: The ideal candidate should have completed secondary education, with a preference for those holding a bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, accounting, or a related field. This educational background provides a solid foundation for understanding HR policies, procedures, and operational requirements necessary for the role.
Experience: The position requires a minimum of four years of relevant experience, with at least two years specifically in human resources. Candidates should have experience in customer service, HR benefits administration, recruitment operations, and familiarity with HR systems and tools.
