Job Overview: The Business Process Analyst position at the World Bank Group is designed for individuals who are eager to contribute to the organization's mission of solving significant development challenges. Duties and Responsibilities: The Business Process Analyst will have a diverse set of responsibilities, including:
Collaborating with users to assess business operations and document business needs.
Identifying opportunities for system simplification and automation to optimize internal processes.
Formulating and defining project scopes and objectives based on institutional requirements.
Documenting business requirements and identifying opportunities for system design or redesign.
Participating in testing the functionality of systems to ensure requirements are met.
Providing business insights and clarifications to support the delivery of effective technical solutions.
Offering direct support to ICSID users on new technical solutions, including training and answering questions.
Preparing user guides for new systems and applications.
Proactively identifying opportunities for integration across systems and functions. 1
Maintaining ICSID case data in new applications, ensuring accuracy and currency of information. 1
Serving as a member of the ICSID intake team, supporting the processing of requests for arbitration, conciliation, mediation, and other related matters. Specific duties also include data review and clean-up, creation of test plans, and conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate application functionalities.
Required Qualifications: Candidates for the Business Process Analyst position must possess a Master’s degree in information technology with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s degree in information technology with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Additionally, candidates should have knowledge of and experience with legal processes, preferably in arbitration. Strong analytical skills are essential for critically evaluating collected information, along with high proficiency in business and technical documentation for various information systems. Candidates should also demonstrate solid experience in writing, managing, and executing system testing, as well as excellent project management skills.
Educational Background: The educational requirements for the Business Process Analyst position include a Master’s degree in information technology or a related field, or a Bachelor’s degree in information technology with significant relevant experience.
