Duties and Responsibilities: The Driver will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to: driving UNHCR vehicles for the transport of authorized personnel, delivering and collecting documents and items, meeting official personnel at airports and facilitating immigration and customs formalities, performing routine maintenance checks on assigned vehicles, ensuring that vehicles are roadworthy and clean, logging official trips and vehicle usage, following security guidance and instructions from supervisors, ensuring valid documentation for passengers and cargo, and performing other related duties as required. The driver will also be responsible for identifying and managing risks associated with transportation and will be expected to raise any issues or concerns to supervisors promptly. Additionally, the driver must maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and report any mechanical defects or operational issues in a timely manner.
Required Qualifications: Candidates for the Driver position must possess a valid driving license and demonstrate knowledge of driving rules and regulations. Essential qualifications include a minimum of 2 years of relevant driving experience, completion of primary education or a high school diploma, and basic vehicle mechanical skills.
