Job Overview: The Operations Manager position at Humanity & Inclusion is a critical role that involves ensuring the effective implementation, quality, and coherence of HI’s Palestine program. Reporting directly to the director" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Country Director, the Operations Manager is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership to the program, directly supervising Area Managers and the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Chief of Operations. This role requires close coordination with technical and support teams to ensure compliance with donor requirements, promote harmonized tools and practices, and strengthen project management capacities. The Operations Manager will also contribute to strategic planning, risk mitigation, and the integration of cross-cutting priorities, making it essential for the candidate to have a comprehensive understanding of humanitarian operations and the ability to navigate complex environments. The position is based in Amman, Jordan, with potential travel to Palestine, depending on access conditions. Duties and Responsibilities: The Operations Manager will have a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Operational Oversight and Strategy Implementation: Leading the planning, coordination, and implementation of field operations in collaboration with Area Managers, ensuring alignment with the mission’s strategic and operational plans.
Supervision and Support to Area Managers and EOD Chief of Operations: Directly supervising Area Managers and the EOD Chief of Operations, providing guidance and strategic oversight to ensure high-quality field operations.
Operational Coordination and Cross-Functional Integration: Serving as the primary link between field teams and support services, ensuring integrated planning and problem-solving.
Project Delivery and Compliance: Monitoring the implementation of all field-based projects to ensure activities are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and in compliance with donor and internal regulations.
