Job Overview:
The Senior Human Resources Associate (Learning Solutions) plays a crucial role within the Integrated Talent Management Unit (ITMU) under the Department of Human Resources (DHR). This position is responsible for supporting the development and maintenance of learning content and solutions for the Staff Development and Learning (SDL) team and other IOM offices and departments. The role involves providing technical and operational support in the creation and adaptation of digital learning solutions, including e-learning modules and blended learning programs. The associate will assist in preparing and formatting learning materials, ensuring they meet organizational standards and accessibility requirements. Additionally, the role includes monitoring learning systems, contributing to data collection and reporting, and serving as a focal point for learning-related requests, thereby facilitating effective coordination with internal clients and stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Senior Human Resources Associate (Learning Solutions) include:
  • Providing technical and operational support in the development and maintenance of digital learning solutions, including e-learning modules and multimedia content.
  • Assisting instructional designers and subject matter experts in preparing, editing, and formatting learning materials.
  • Supporting the coordination of learning content review processes by consolidating feedback and tracking revisions.
  • Administering learning systems and platforms, including course uploads and report extraction.
  • Monitoring usage of learning platforms and preparing reports to support decision-making.

Required Qualifications:
The position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional certification in Education, Learning & Development, Information and Communications Technology, or a related field from an accredited institution, along with four years of relevant professional experience. Alternatively, candidates with a high school diploma and six years of relevant experience will also be considered. Accredited universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database. Candidates should possess experience supporting learning and development activities, knowledge of learning theories, and familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).

Educational Background:
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional certification in relevant fields such as Education, Learning & Development, or Information and Communications Technology.
