Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Medium Voltage Operation and Maintenance Engineer include operating and monitoring MV distribution systems, performing switching operations, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures. The engineer will develop and execute maintenance plans, troubleshoot network faults, and coordinate testing and inspection of MV equipment. Additionally, the engineer will lead fault investigations, collaborate with various teams for system restorations, and participate in the commissioning of new installations. Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a minimum of a Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. Additionally, a minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in medium voltage transmission systems is required. Technical knowledge of MV systems, substations, protection systems, and distribution network equipment is essential. Familiarity with international electrical safety standards is also required, while knowledge of SCADA systems and protection relays is considered desirable.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field. This foundational education is crucial for understanding the complexities of medium voltage systems and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

Experience:
The position requires at least five years of progressively responsible experience in the field of medium voltage transmission systems.
