Job Overview: The ICT Transition Manager position is a temporary role aimed at facilitating the transition of ICT services from Host Nation (HN) to NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA) services. Duties and Responsibilities: The incumbent will be responsible for supporting the JSEC ICT transition, which includes advising the Branch Head on CIS enablement, planning ICT components based on operational requirements, and managing the retrograde of HN ICT services. Key duties include coordinating ICT layout changes during construction phases, liaising with HN DEU ICT stakeholders, and serving as the project manager for NCIA projects related to ICT transition. The role also involves identifying bottlenecks, managing risks, and ensuring that project milestones are met. The candidate will act as the point of contact for various meetings and will be responsible for quality assurance of ICT adaptations in legacy buildings.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a University Degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or a Higher Secondary education with advanced vocational training leading to a professional qualification and 5 years of post-related experience, including 2 years in a functionally related role. Experience in project management is essential, along with a solid understanding of system infrastructure, software development lifecycles, and data security. Proficiency in English is mandatory, with a required SLP level of 3333 (Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing).
Educational Background: A University Degree in a relevant field is required, or alternatively, a Higher Secondary education with advanced vocational training leading to a professional qualification. This educational background should be complemented by practical experience in a related field, ensuring that candidates have the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills to perform effectively in the role.
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 4 years of post-related experience if they hold a University Degree, or 5 years of relevant experience if they have a Higher Secondary education with vocational training. Additionally, at least 2 years of experience in a functionally related role is required, demonstrating the candidate's capability to manage projects and understand the complexities of ICT systems and infrastructure.

Additional Notes: The selected candidate will initially receive a six-month contract, with the possibility of extension for an additional six months based on performance and operational needs. The gross monthly salary is €9,184.09, subject to taxation, and temporary personnel are responsible for their tax obligations. A comprehensive benefits package is provided, including pension contributions, medical and accident benefits, and paid leave of 2.5 days per month worked. Candidates must obtain a security clearance certificate (minimum NATO Secret) prior to appointment.
