Job Overview:
The NATO Staff Assistant (LIM Support) position is integral to the Logistics Information Management (LIM) Branch within the J4 Division of JSEC. The role involves managing and maintaining information tools that support logistics operations, ensuring that data is accurately processed and made available to authorized users. The incumbent will be responsible for the functional administration of document management systems, data validation, and ensuring compliance with established guidelines. This position requires a proactive approach to data management, facilitating communication and collaboration among various stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency. The successful candidate will contribute to the overall mission of NATO by ensuring that logistics data is effectively governed and utilized to support strategic objectives. The role may also involve deployments in support of military operations, requiring flexibility and adaptability to changing operational needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The incumbent's duties include providing functional administration of HQ document management systems, analyzing and validating data for accuracy, ensuring compliance with submission formats, transferring data into LOGBASE for accessibility, supporting upgrades and maintenance of logistics information exchange requirements, and ensuring that all electronic workflow packages are correctly completed. The role also involves maintaining a repository of relevant publications and forms, advising LIM staff on compliance with ACO directions, and facilitating knowledge networks among stakeholders. Additionally, the incumbent will act as the point of contact for communications and information systems within the branch, ensuring effective coordination and delivery of LIM products.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess proven experience in analytics, particularly in data analysis and management. The role requires expertise in identifying, organizing, and interpreting data from various sources to support informed decision-making. Candidates should demonstrate a strong understanding of data quality and governance, as well as the ability to transform data into actionable insights. The position also requires evaluating data requirements and recommending appropriate analytical approaches. A background in information technology, economics, statistics, or operational research is essential, along with the ability to contribute to organizational standards and continuous improvement initiatives.

Educational Background:
The educational requirements for this position include higher secondary education with intermediate vocational training in relevant fields such as information technology, economics, statistics, or operational research, leading to a formal qualification with at least 2 years of related experience. Alternatively, candidates may have secondary education with completed advanced vocational training in a related discipline, resulting in a professional qualification or accreditation, along with 4 years of post-related experience. Experience:
Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in analytics, data management, or a related field. Languages:
The mandatory language requirement for this position is English, with a proficiency level of SLP 3333 in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. While English is the primary language, knowledge of additional languages may be considered an asset but is not mandatory.

Additional Notes:
The contract for this position will be offered in accordance with NATO Civilian Personnel Regulations. Newly recruited staff will receive a three-year contract, which may be extended to an indefinite duration based on satisfactory performance. The salary is tax-free and includes various allowances for expatriates, such as family and children's allowances, education allowances for children, and a comprehensive private health insurance scheme.
