Job Overview:
The E T Temporary Senior Program Administrator position at the World Bank involves supporting the Development Economics (DEC) Vice Presidency, which is the primary hub for the World Bank's knowledge system. The role is crucial in managing program administration, contracting, and record-keeping for audits, as well as coordinating with consultants and vendors. The administrator will be responsible for ensuring effective stakeholder relationship management and supporting various outreach and communication activities. This position is integral to the success of the DEC's initiatives, particularly in enhancing land governance and agricultural markets in Ukraine, and requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and communication.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the E T Temporary Senior Program Administrator include: administering contracts with consultants and vendors, assisting with procurements using RFX Now, monitoring contract implementation and timelines, tracking budgets, producing commitment overviews, maintaining project monitoring systems, and archiving deliverables. The administrator will also maintain the Land team websites, support the organization of conferences and seminars, coordinate administrative contacts with stakeholders, and keep contact lists updated. Additionally, the role involves carrying out any other tasks as requested by the Task Team Leaders (TTL).

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess at least a BA/BSc or equivalent degree and have a minimum of 5 years of professional work experience. Proven experience with World Bank administrative platforms such as STC contracting, administrative portal, RFX Now, and SAP is essential. A strong track record in consultant and vendor management, along with an understanding of World Bank recruitment, accounting, and procurement guidelines, is required. Experience in organizing conferences and events is considered an advantage, and candidates should demonstrate good communication and writing skills.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field. This foundational education is critical for understanding the complexities of program administration and the specific requirements of the World Bank's operational frameworks.

Experience:
The position requires at least 5 years of professional work experience, particularly in roles that involve administrative support, project management, or program coordination. Experience within the World Bank or similar international organizations is highly valued, as it provides familiarity with the specific processes and systems used in such environments.

Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory, both spoken and written. Additionally, proficiency in Ukrainian is required, as the role involves significant interaction with stakeholders in Ukraine. Knowledge of other languages may be beneficial but is not mandatory.

This position is a temporary appointment with a term duration of 1 year. It is classified under local recruitment, meaning that preference will be given to applicants authorized to work in the duty station. The role is full-time, and candidates should be aware that an Extended Term (ET) appointment is subject to a lifetime maximum of three years.
