Job Overview:
The Project Management Support - Senior Officer [Law Enforcement] position is crucial for ensuring the effective implementation of projects related to law enforcement. The officer will be responsible for coordinating various project activities, monitoring progress, and ensuring that project objectives are met efficiently. Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Project Management Support - Senior Officer [Law Enforcement] include but are not limited to:
  • Coordinating project activities and ensuring timely delivery of project outputs.
  • Monitoring project progress and preparing regular reports for stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with law enforcement agencies and other partners to enhance project effectiveness.
  • Identifying challenges and proposing solutions to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Conducting training and capacity-building activities for project staff and partners.
  • Managing project budgets and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  • Participating in project evaluations and contributing to lessons learned documentation.
  • Representing UNODC at meetings and conferences related to law enforcement and project management.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess strong project management skills, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects in the law enforcement sector. They should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling them to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on achieving results. Familiarity with UNODC's mission and objectives, as well as experience working in international environments, is highly desirable.

Educational Background:
A bachelor's degree in project management, law enforcement, criminal justice, or a related field is required. A master's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred and may be considered an asset. Experience:
