Job Overview: The ICT Senior Analyst – Data and Business Intelligence plays a crucial role in the organization by developing, deploying, and managing data collection and analytics-based reporting solutions. This position is designed to provide actionable intelligence to the mission's senior management team and support unit chiefs. The analyst will be responsible for extracting, transforming, and loading data (ETL) from various enterprise systems to ensure that Business Intelligence products are refreshed according to the agreed schedule. This role requires a deep understanding of data management processes and the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights that can drive strategic decisions within the organization. The analyst will also collaborate with different teams to identify data needs and develop solutions that enhance operational effectiveness.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and manage data collection and analytics-based reporting solutions to support mission management.
Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various enterprise systems to maintain up-to-date Business Intelligence products.
Collaborate with mission support units and section chiefs to identify data requirements and reporting needs.
Analyze data trends and provide actionable insights to senior management for informed decision-making.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all reporting solutions.
Provide technical support and training to staff on data management tools and processes.
Stay updated on industry best practices in data analytics and business intelligence.
Prepare and present reports and dashboards to stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
Required Qualifications:
Strong analytical skills with a focus on data management and business intelligence.
Proficiency in data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field is required. A master's degree or additional certifications in data analytics or business intelligence is preferred and may enhance the candidate's qualifications for the role.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field is required. Candidates should have a proven track record of developing and managing data reporting solutions in a professional setting. Experience working in an international organization or a similar environment is an advantage.
Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory. Knowledge of additional languages, particularly those relevant to the organization's operational regions, is considered an asset and may enhance communication with diverse stakeholders.
