Job Overview: The Data Coordinator position is integral to the Air Section of the Defence Industry, Innovation and Armaments Division. The primary function of this role is to support the administrative and organizational activities of the Air Section, ensuring efficient handling of various tasks. The incumbent will assist the Section Head with administrative matters related to the Aviation Committee and airworthiness tasks. A significant responsibility includes the management of an airworthiness database, which involves its population, maintenance, and refinement. The Data Coordinator will also engage in knowledge management, expertise development, and project management, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the section's operations. This role requires a proactive approach to developing skills in planning, organizing, and utilizing new technologies to enhance the section's capabilities.
Duties and Responsibilities: The Data Coordinator will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to: maintaining relevant information for various projects, assisting with the administration of the Aviation Committee and its substructures, responding to inquiries related to airworthiness data, implementing and validating airworthiness data, establishing dashboards to support the section's work, contributing to the development of processes for airworthiness authorities, and participating in projects as requested. The role may also involve performing additional duties as assigned by the Section Head, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a higher secondary education qualification with at least six years of post-related experience, or an upper vocational training/post-secondary degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of three years of administrative or organizational work experience. In-depth knowledge of office management and information technology systems, particularly the Microsoft Office suite and Share Point, is essential. Additionally, candidates must demonstrate proficiency in NATO's official languages, achieving at least a V ('Advanced') level in one language and a I ('Beginner') level in the other. Experience in managing systems engineering processes and in the aviation industry is considered an advantage.
Educational Background: The educational background required for this position includes a higher secondary education qualification or an upper vocational training/post-secondary degree in a relevant field. Additional Notes: The successful applicant will be offered a definite duration contract of three years, with the possibility of transitioning to an indefinite duration contract thereafter.
