Job Overview:
The position of Talent Acquisition Officer is situated within a cohesive and supportive team of 10 members, including 6 Talent Acquisition Officers, under the supervision of the Talent Acquisition & Development Manager. The role encompasses a variety of tasks in an international environment, focusing initially on recruitment for defined functions related to Rehabilitation and security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Security. The officer will collaborate closely with job reference holders and will be responsible for developing and maintaining a pool of candidates. Additionally, the role includes managing the mobility of headquarters and expatriate staff, supporting employer visibility, and participating in various HR projects. Candidates should possess a proactive and agile approach, with strong communication skills in both French and English, and familiarity with collaborative tools is essential. Experience in the humanitarian sector is considered an asset.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Talent Acquisition Officer will undertake a range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
  • Recruiting staff for both headquarters and field positions within a defined scope of functions, initially focusing on Rehabilitation and Security activities.
  • Collaborating closely with job reference holders to ensure alignment with organizational needs and candidate profiles.
  • Developing and maintaining a candidate pool to ensure a steady flow of qualified applicants.
  • Managing the mobility of personnel at headquarters and expatriates, ensuring smooth transitions and compliance with organizational policies.
  • Supporting employer branding initiatives and enhancing HR communication strategies to attract top talent.
  • Participating in various HR projects aimed at improving recruitment processes and employee engagement.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must demonstrate a solid background in recruitment, showcasing their ability to navigate the complexities of hiring in a humanitarian context. Proficiency in both French and English is mandatory, with strong communication skills being essential for effective collaboration within the team and with external stakeholders. Familiarity with collaborative tools and a proactive approach to problem-solving are also required. A background in the humanitarian sector is highly desirable, as it provides valuable context for the role.

Educational Background:
A relevant degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Additional certifications in recruitment or human resources management would be advantageous, as they demonstrate a commitment to professional development in the field.

Experience:
Candidates should have a proven track record in recruitment, ideally with experience in the humanitarian sector. A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role is preferred, showcasing the ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously and effectively engage with diverse candidate pools.

Languages:
Fluency in French is mandatory, while proficiency in English is also required. Knowledge of additional languages would be considered a plus, enhancing the candidate's ability to communicate in a multicultural environment.

Additional Notes:
The position is a fixed-term contract (CDD) for an initial duration of 3 months, with the potential for a 3-month extension. The role is classified as a managerial position, offering a salary starting from €26,000 gross annually. Employees are entitled to 34 days of paid leave and 13 RTT days annually, along with a CET to help balance work and personal life. The organization promotes a flexible working environment, including a meal voucher system (60% covered by HI) and a telework charter. Transportation costs are partially covered, with a 50% reimbursement for transport subscriptions.
