Job Overview:
The position of Extended Term (ET) Temporary at the World Bank Office in Manila is designed to provide high-quality administrative and client services support. The role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of the office and involves working closely under the supervision of the Operations Manager and/or Task Team Leader. The ET Temporary will be responsible for a comprehensive range of administrative support functions, which include quality assurance, effective communication with internal and external clients, and conducting general research and reference work. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Extended Term (ET) Temporary will carry out a full range of office support work, which includes managing processes and monitoring schedules related to the team's or unit's products and tasks. Specific duties include organizing and managing the Task Team Leader’s meeting schedule and flow of communications, ensuring follow-up actions are taken. The role requires extensive coordination with service units and frequent liaison with team members both at headquarters and in the field, as well as with external counterparts. The ET Temporary will draft routine correspondence and proofread materials, ensuring proper grammar, punctuation, and style are adhered to. Additionally, the position involves incorporating agreed comments into documents, utilizing shared drives and software capabilities effectively. The ET Temporary will produce complex text, reports, figures, and graphs according to standard Bank formats and distribution. The role also includes coordinating schedules while taking priorities into account, monitoring changes, and communicating relevant information to appropriate staff, including officials outside the Bank Group. The ET Temporary will solve non-routine problems, assist in preparation and logistical planning for various events such as conferences and workshops, and monitor specific activities within their teams or clusters. Other responsibilities include maintaining current distribution lists, project files, and providing administrative support to the Task Team, including updating contact data and assisting with routine tasks such as helpdesk support in bank systems.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree along with at least 2 years of relevant office administration experience, preferably within international development organizations. The ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including clients from government, private sector, civil society, development partners, and Bank staff, is essential. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and proficiency in technology and systems relevant to the functional area are required, with the ability to coach less experienced staff on these technologies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Filipino are mandatory, and candidates should demonstrate a willingness to take on additional ad-hoc responsibilities as needed.

Educational Background:
A Bachelor’s degree is required for this position, which serves as the foundational educational background necessary for the role. This educational requirement is essential to ensure that candidates possess the necessary skills and knowledge to perform the administrative functions effectively within the World Bank Group.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant office administration experience.
