Job Overview:
The Warehouse Coordinator will play a vital role in coordinating activities related to warehouse maintenance, including the reception, handling, storage, tracking, and shipping of goods. This position supports the implementation of high-quality programs aimed at benefiting poor and vulnerable populations. The coordinator will ensure that the goods entrusted to the organization by donors are stored according to established standards, CRS regulations, and international and local accountability standards for the supply chain. The role requires maintaining the integrity, security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security, and accountability of goods while upholding high operational standards. The Warehouse Coordinator will work closely with warehouse staff, supervise casual laborers as needed, and be instrumental in verifying receipts from carriers and maintaining accurate records.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities include coordinating activities to ensure that storage facilities and all necessary equipment and supplies are secured and maintained in excellent physical condition, with appropriate stock levels for proper storage and protection of goods. Daily inspections will be conducted to identify and rectify any deficiencies immediately. The coordinator will work with the logistics team to plan the timely reception, shipping, and delivery of goods to extended distribution points and/or partners. Responsibilities also include maintaining up-to-date information on the status of assistance goods movements, supporting the coordination of reception operations (unloading, checking and verifying quantities/weights and quality) and shipping (packing, labeling, loading), and ensuring accurate, complete, and up-to-date documentation for all received and shipped goods. The coordinator will plan and supervise the work of casual laborers, oversee the storage and inspection of goods to ensure their excellent condition, assist in managing cases of damage and/or loss, and support the replenishment of goods to maintain adequate stock levels according to program needs. An effective and reliable inventory control system for warehouse goods and materials/equipment will be established and maintained, with records kept up to date. The coordinator will also classify and distribute documents as needed and assist in preparing reports related to goods movements, damages or losses, inventory control, and warehouse activities. Monthly reports on incoming and outgoing food movements will be presented, and physical unloading and counting of food upon receipt will be conducted, with stock records maintained. Participation in systematic physical inventories after each food movement, following CRS food management procedures, is required, along with establishing monthly reports for food and other products. All documents must be well-organized chronologically, by month, by nature, and separated from unrelated documents, including distribution lists, delivery notes, return BLs, stock sheets, distribution sheets, various reports, stock books, loss books, analysis bulletins, and all related correspondence.

Required Qualifications:
The position requires a bachelor's degree and a minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of professional experience in stock coordination or warehouse activities. Additional academic training may partially compensate for the required experience. Candidates should possess knowledge and understanding of inventory management and control principles, the ability to supervise and manage manual labor, and proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word). Strong coordination, prioritization, and time management skills are essential, along with ethical conduct in accordance with recognized professional and organizational codes of conduct. Good communication and relationship management skills are necessary, as well as a proactive, resourceful, solution-oriented, and results-focused attitude.

Educational Background:
A bachelor's degree is required for this position. Candidates with additional academic training in administration, accounting, purchasing, or general inventory management will be considered favorably. Experience with database management systems (e.g., MS Access) is also a plus.

Experience:
Candidates should have a minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of relevant professional experience in stock coordination or warehouse activities. Experience within an international organization is preferred, and additional academic training may partially compensate for the required experience.

Languages:
Fluency in French, Lingala, and Swahili is required, while a good level of English is considered an asset. The candidate must be willing and able to travel up to 20-25% of the time.

Additional Notes:
This position does not involve supervisory responsibilities. The main working relationships include internal collaboration with the Supply Chain Manager, Logistician, Operation Manager, Program Team, and Fleet Officer, as well as external interactions with partners, suppliers, and service providers.
