Job Overview: The Human Resources Assistant position at WFP is designed to support the effective implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring a client-focused and strategy-oriented HR service. The role involves a variety of HR tasks that require a good understanding of standard guidelines and practices. Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in responding to HR-related queries and follow up to ensure high-quality HR service delivery.

Liaise with relevant units and HR focal points to facilitate timely HR service delivery, including payroll and contracts.
Coordinate recruitment processes for the Country Office, ensuring compliance with WFP policies.
Compile and analyze HR data related to recruitment, performance management, and learning and development.
Provide administrative support across various HR activities as assigned.
Support onboarding processes for new staff, ensuring clarity on HR policies and procedures.
Maintain confidential personnel records and HR databases, ensuring compliance with data protection standards.
Draft and process HR documentation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to service standards. 1
Utilize HR management systems to manage HR data and monitor key deadlines. 1
Serve as the primary contact for HR management system queries and provide guidance to staff. 1

Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess secondary education with specialized certification in HR or related fields, supplemented by training in personnel or general administration. A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related field is desirable. Additionally, candidates should have a minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in human resources management or administrative support. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is essential, and experience with SAP System or HCM Workday is an asset. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a client-oriented approach are crucial for success in this role.
Educational Background: The educational background required for this position includes secondary education with specialized certification in human resources or related fields.
