Job Overview:
The Human Resources Assistant is integrated within the Recruitment & Pathways and Technical HR services and is placed under the mentorship of both responsible parties. In the context of their apprenticeship, the assistant will develop technical skills across various human resources themes, including HR strategy, recruitment, talent management, duty of care, disciplinary management, and payroll. Additionally, the assistant will enhance their communication and interpersonal skills, particularly through participation in internal HR communications. The role is designed to provide practical experience in HR functions while supporting the organization's mission.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Human Resources Assistant include supporting the Recruitment & Pathways service by posting job advertisements on the Solidarités International website and associated platforms, modifying and closing job postings as necessary, sending invitations for mandatory training to newly recruited employees, and addressing support requests related to the recruitment software used by the service. The assistant will also support field HR departments in conducting expatriate recruitments by training them on job posting and recruitment software usage. Furthermore, the assistant will draft and distribute the monthly HR newsletter, pre-screen spontaneous applications, and assist in planning briefings and debriefings in support of recruitment officers. In terms of induction, the assistant will organize monthly induction sessions, centralizing schedules and modules, sending invitations to speakers and participants, and providing logistical and coordination support during the sessions. The assistant will contribute to updating HR tools by monitoring the update of HR packs and verifying data, assisting with service reporting, and participating in the maintenance of internal collaborative tools such as SharePoint. The assistant will also support projects aimed at improving HR processes by documenting internal procedures, formalizing HR communication materials (guides, tutorials, FAQs), and participating in testing phases during HR tool updates. Additionally, the assistant will provide first-level responses to internal inquiries, redirecting them to the appropriate contacts and assisting in drafting standard responses or materials for Country Offices. The assistant will participate in team meetings and take notes as requested, and will support service members as needed, such as assisting with archiving or payroll calculations.

Required Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should be a student currently undergoing apprenticeship training (Bachelor's or Master's level) in human resources. Technical skills required include a good command of office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and a solid understanding of social media operations. The candidate should also possess strong interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in humanitarian work and the non-profit sector. Organizational skills, attention to detail, availability, a sense of humor, autonomy, and initiative are essential qualities for this role.

Educational Background:
Candidates must be pursuing a degree in human resources, either at the Bachelor's or Master's level. This educational background is crucial as it provides the foundational knowledge and skills necessary for the various HR functions that the assistant will be involved in during their apprenticeship.

Experience:
While specific prior experience may not be required, candidates should demonstrate a strong interest in human resources and a willingness to learn and develop their skills in a practical setting. Any previous internships or volunteer work in HR or related fields would be beneficial but not mandatory.

Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory for this position. Knowledge of additional languages may be considered an asset, particularly if they are relevant to the regions where Solidarités International operates.

Additional Notes:
The work-study position is based at the headquarters of SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL in Clichy (92), accessible via the Mairie de Clichy metro station. There is a possibility of remote work in accordance with the current telework policy and the manager's approval. The apprenticeship contract can last for 12 or 24 months, with remuneration according to applicable regulations. Additional benefits include an 80% coverage of health insurance, 50% reimbursement of public transport costs by SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL, meal vouchers worth €8.90 with a 60% contribution from the organization, and vacation entitlement of 2.0833 days per month.
